What are your rates and fees?
Our rates are competitive when compared to other storage facilities
in the area. We do not require a security deposit. We encourage
everyone to stop by and take a tour. We will analyze your specific
storage needs. We offer security, 24 hour access, on-site management
and more. Please inquire directly for pricing.
What size units do you have and what
size do I need?
Our friendly resident managers have years of experience and can help
you determine what size unit you need based on what you are storing.
Use our
sizing guide as a reference. We have closet to garage
sizes available in both climate control and standard units.
Do I need a lock?
You will need a lock for your unit. Lock Box Self-Storage highly
recommends and offers three styles of Chateau Locks with a lifetime
warranty. These locks are made especially for self-storage units.
Do I have to sign a lease?
Our contracts are month to month and you can move in and out as your
schedule permits. There are no long term contracts. If you need
long-term storage, check with our managers for specials offered at
the time of rental.
When do I have access to my unit?
Using your own personal gate code you may access your unit 24 hours
a day, 7 days a week, even on holidays. Our office hours are 8:30
a.m. – 5:30 p.m. Monday through Saturday. Our offices are closed on
Sundays. Our resident managers have an after hours number that you
can call in case of emergency.
How secure are my belongings?
Our managers live on site, so someone is on the property day and
night. The gated entrance is right next to the manager's
office/residence. You will have your own personal access code to
enter through the security gate. Our security software monitors the
gates 24 hours a day and we know who is coming and going at all
times. Our site is fenced and well lit. We also have 24 hour video
surveillance with cameras located on all sides of the property.
Do I need insurance?
We have insurance available from a third party insurance company at
very reasonable rates. Your resident manager can help you with this
when you rent your unit. Some home owner policies do cover self
storage, but most do not. You may want to check your home owner
policy first.
What types of payments do you
accept?
We accept cash, checks, money order, Master Card, Visa and American
Express. For your convenience, we can set up automatic payment on
your credit or debit card. We also have a drop box located at our
office for after hour payments. You can leave checks or money orders
in our drop box, but please do not leave cash. It is our policy to
issue cash receipts for any cash payments we receive.
Do you sell boxes?
Yes, we have a wide variety of moving boxes in several sizes along
with other packing materials such as clean white newsprint, covers
for sofas, mattresses and chairs, jumbo utility bags, magnet lights,
batteries, rope, packing tape, utility knives and more; all at
discounted pricing for sale in the manager's offices.
Do you have any specials for
military, students or new renters?
We run seasonal specials for new renters. Check with the resident
managers to see what specials are running.
Do you have a referral program?
YES! If you are a current tenant and refer a customer to us who
rents a unit, we will automatically credit your account for the next
month as a Thank You to you. Ask your resident manager for specific
information.
What kinds of things can not be
stored in a unit?
Hazardous and toxic materials are strictly prohibited. If you have
any questions about certain items, please check with the resident
managers.
